[TRANSFORMERS: THE HEADMASTERS - WAR OF DREAMS]

In 1987, a light novel based on the Japanese G1 show Headmasters was released. It was originally written by Keisuke Fujikawa with illustrations by Shoko Yoshinaka, and was based on several episodes of the series. Not much information about the LN is online, at least in anglophone fandom.

In 2014, the publisher, Kadokawa, reissued a text-only barebones ebook version via their proprietary light novel service BOOK WALKER. This copy goes for a couple of quid, and since the publisher's purchases, app and in-browser e-reader aren't region locked, you can just buy it, though they do the annoying thing where they refuse to give you an actual file you can download for your money.

This immediately bothered me because if the site goes down that 'ebook' is almost certainly gone forever, and nobody has so far bothered to digitize the paperback and probably won't any time soon. So I spent an afternoon manually screencapping the entire thing in a moderately readable format and made it into an extremely rough and ready pdf that nonetheless serves as an actual downloadable copy of it.

Obviously the book can currently be bought with trivial ease for a couple quid, so by all means go pay them for it, but if you have any need of a copy you can actually keep locally, here it is. No idea what the book's like as I don't read Japanese. (But if anyone wants to have a go at even just a summary, that would be great.) In the future I might splash out for the physical book and if I do, I'll come back and try to add in the original illustrations.
